in-service trainings
The America Red Cross recommends 4 hours of in-service training a month to keep lifeguards skills sharp and to help you have an effective aquatic safety team. Training staff to work as a team, practicing with facility specific scenarios and utilizing your EAP is the best way to prepare lifeguards to handle emergencies situations. SJAT offers in-service training for pool, waterfront and waterpark lifeguard staff. Training consists of water rescues with equipment, CPR and First Aid emergency care and skill based scenarios modeled from the facility's specific emergency action plan (EAP). Training is tailored to each facility therefore a copy of the EAP is requested by SJAT one week prior to the training.
Cost of the training is based on the length and number of participants.
We are able include OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training. This would include a $10 certification fee per participant and requires additional time.
