HOw we got started

We launched SJ Aquatic Training because of our dedication to aquatic safety and ensuring that there are quality trained lifeguards at our local facilities.  We saw a need for highly trained lifeguards and because of our passion for aquatic education, SJAT was founded. With over 45 years of experience combined, we are thrilled to continue to train lifeguards to prevent emergencies and ensure the safety of swimmers in Southeastern Michigan. We are working with several local facilities to offer numerous courses at various times to help get as many qualified guards as possible ready for this summer. With our many contacts in the area we can also help our trained guards find employment after class.
